Now in its’ fourth year, the COLD SHOT challenge encourages photographers and surfers from all corners of the world to participate by capturing a moment of Cold Water Surf on the East Coast, USA.

As the Creative Director of NYSEA I have overseen the logo, design, collateral, platform development and marketing of the Cold Shot Challenge since its' creation. The Cold Shot has been sponsored by Clifbar since the beginning and has grown each year with their support reaching over 2.5 Million impressions in 2019.

The Cold Shot is not only an online project as we host a photo gallery each year of the finalists in NYC, bringing to life the imagery captured throughout the winter months on the East Coast.
